Penguin Paradise
The other night I was driving down Shamrock Blvd near 41 and came across this home that I had to stop at, I call it Penguin Paradise. They have a huge structure shaped like an igloo that is filled with inflatable lighted penguins, as well as more around the yard. Really cool.
Today I’m including two photos, a cute close up I like and one showing the larger context.
If anyone reading this knows of other great holiday displays in yards around Venice FL I’d sure appreciate a tip so that I can share it with others.

We saw this igloo being prepared when we were on holiday from the UK in November and were devastated not to see the finished project as we had to return home. Our friends from Belgium then went on vacation to Siesta Key and we asked them to take a photo if they were down Venice way. They sent me a photo taken in the day, which looked amazing and now I have found your blog with the evening photo, well, it just confirms that we returned home too soon! Thanks for posting this.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the photos Maria. If you would like more (I have 12) please send me your contact info. privately. Use the contact form on my Venice web site

It's not the same as being here, but it's better than not seeing it at all.
There is also an old house on Venice Ave. close to the beach that I discovered last night I'm going to have to go back and take some photos of.
