Today was the last day of preaching and service for Reverend Susanne Nazian at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Venice. She has served over eight years in a congregation that is only ten years old! She will be greatly missed including those like myself who have only known her a short time. She has been a great listener, guide, friend, and encourager for myself and many others.Her last service was a bit of fun with clips of The Vicar of Dibley interspersed with comments from Reverend Susanne. Very appropriate as there are quite a few similarities between the two! That may give you a clue as to why she is loved and will be missed so much. Although I don't think either Rev. Susanne or the congregation are quite as eccentric as Dibley, but that is TV after all.
